The response from Cypriot bloggers so far has been spectacular. I hope this has shown to Neşe, but even more so to the people trying to hurt her, that there are a lot of people willing to speak out and rally behind her for support in any way that they can. I’ll try and keep myself and everyone informed about the progress of the issue as it unfolds. I leave you with a photograph from Neşe’s stand at the Istanbul book fair, where supporters signed a petition and a group of women sat in a circle and read parts of her novel.
